SeedFaith ("we", "the app") is a daily devotional, Bible reading and prayer app. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and, if you choose, a profile photo. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the name and email those services share with us. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only see the relay address.
- Content you create: reflections, comments, prayer requests, likes, saved devotionals and the friends you add.
- Activity in the app: reading-plan progress, prayers completed and your daily streak.
- Safety information: reports you submit about posts, and the users you block.
- Settings: your daily reminder time.
We do not collect your location, contacts, health data, browsing history or advertising identifiers, and the app contains no analytics or advertising SDKs.
How we use it
Only to run SeedFaith: to sign you in, show your progress, connect you with friends you add, send the daily reminder you set, and keep the community safe by reviewing reports. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
Who can see your content
Your reflections, comments and prayer requests are visible to your friends in the app. Your name and profile photo are visible to other signed-in users so they can find and add you as a friend. Users you block can't see your posts, and you won't see theirs.
Service providers
We store data with Google Firebase (authentication, database and file storage), which processes it on our behalf. Bible text is loaded from API.Bible; those requests do not include your personal information. Prayer audio is streamed from our Firebase storage.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, posts, comments, likes, prayer requests, progress and profile photo are deleted. Reports you submitted may be kept for up to 90 days so we can finish reviewing them.
Deleting your data
Delete your account at any time in the app: open the Me tab and choose Delete account. You can also email us to ask for deletion and we'll complete it within 30 days.
Children
SeedFaith is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
